Pastor Steve
I can’t wait to meet you personally! The Lord called me in to Pastoral ministry when I was 18 years old. I grew up attending University Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Don Grantham (still my mentor & friend today). I graduated from Trinity College of Florida in 1994 with a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies with a focus on Biblical Counseling. I married my high school sweetheart (Janna) in 1995. (Sadly she has now gone on to be with the Lord in 2022, due to cancer.) I have 3 incredible kids: Seth*, Jada & Jordan and an amazing daughter-in-law *Reese.
In 2004, North Pointe Church began as a church plant from Belmont Baptist Church in Temple Terrace, FL. Since the beginning, I have served as Worship Pastor, Executive Pastor and now have the honor to lead as Senior Pastor since 2011. I have spent over 20 years with this incredible church family – truly humbled and honored to be a part of what God is doing here at NPC!

My Family
I am blessed to have found and experienced true love in my lifetime: from God, My Bride, My Children & My Family. Losing my bride in 2022, has left a scar that will likely never fade; but Iām confident that God will continue to comfort and heal my heart as He works out His Plan for my life. My children and I have learned that even in unfathomable grief, God is enough! Everything we learned & preached publicly we believed in the valley of the shadow of death.
I have 3 incredible kids: Seth*, Jada & Jordan and an amazing daughter-in-law *Reese.
